So as you’ve noticed, we haven’t updated in a while. Without going into detail, Marili will not be drawing the comic for the foreseeable future. Don’t worry. She’s okay. That said, I have found another artist who will be filling in and completing this current story. Hopefully, we’ll have new pages in July, and by then, we should be back on regular updates (maybe even two pages per week). We’re not going to leave you hanging! We have so many more stories to tell!
Sorry for the delay. Life happens, but we’ll see you soon!
Hey gang, I’m going to be at Emerald City Comic Con again this year! I’m still at table D3, and it’ll just be me this time. I’ll have Amanda Green comics and prints, plus something new that’s not Amanda Green related (but still great). If you’re going to be at ECCC, come see me!
Hey gang, I know we’ve had a lot of new readers over the past month or so, and first off, hello, you beautiful human! My, did you do something with your hair today? Have you lost weight? You look very fine, I must say!
As this post is titled, I’d like to point out and explain what the New Romford Free Press exactly is. Quite simply, it’s a fictional news site set within the AGU (the Amanda Green Universe). What happens there is what happens in Amanda and Carrie’s world, so some stories will add context to things happening in the comic. But for the most part, it’s a bunch of Onion-style joke articles! I write all of the stories, and Marili provides the occasional pictures, and we’re just having a good time over there. It updates on Tuesdays and Fridays, so you get double the fun each week!
Comments aren’t allowed on that site, but it does have a Twitter account (@nrfpnews) and Facebook page. I don’t always update the Twitter as much as I should, but that (and FB) is a good place to send comments if you want.
Hey gang, I made these banners for my website, Exit 421 (which has links to all of my other webcomics you can read), so I thought I’d share them here, too. The Big Cartel store is the same store listed on the top menubar, but we have some NEW items there you should check out! The Gumroad store is just for the Amanda Green, SIA, mini-comic. It’s a PDF of just the Amanda story, so if you want the Miranda Ng story (featuring her punching a robot), you’ll have to buy the physical book at Big Cartel. Right now, the Gumroad version is just $2 (or more if you want). I’ll probably upload these banners to the Store link just to make this easy for everyone, but for now, they’re right here!
